Entrepreneurship keeps the blood thumping through the heart of the economy. Entrepreneurship is a tremendous driver and the hard-working face of recovery.

Innovative, lean and highly mobile, new companies pump creative juices into stagnant economies.

Last year, the Kauffman Foundation illuminated what it takes to create jobs.

Nearly all net new job creation in the U.S. from 1980 to 2005 came from companies
that had fewer than five years under their belt. No new companies? No new jobs.

A sad situation for a world looking to accelerate into the future.

The Internet allows individuals and small businesses to play with the big caps. Large corporations face a more level playing field. SMBs can do what they couldn’t before. Empowered, SMBs race foward to see what else they can do with and through technology.

Despite Ireland’s recent bailout woes, the Irish government doesn’t want to lose its focus on entrepreneurs. Makes sense.
